Eco friendly products or green products provide an opportunity to purchase items that are environmentally friendly. Another way to support eco friendly products is by purchasing eco friendly or green toys. Not only will we be supporting companies producing non-toxic, environmentally friendly toys, but our children will also learn that protecting the environment is important. Green toys are built to last and are made of materials that are natural, renewable, and non-toxic. Eco friendly toys can be passed along in a family, and that leads to less waste, unlike the plastic flimsy toys that end up in a landfill. Also, many eco friendly toys are made in America unlike most of the plastic toys that are made in China. You won't have to worry about a toy recall for toxic paints when you purchase eco friendly toys.

Eco friendly products also include clothes. Any type of clothing you can think of is being made somewhere with natural and organic fabrics. By using organic cotton you are supporting cotton farmers who use little to no pesticides and preserve healthy ecosystems in the process. The harmful pesticides used in traditional cotton farming and manufacturing can persist for years, even after washing the item many times. Again, by buying green products, you are supporting companies and farmers that are trying to protect the environment.

Buying eco frienldy products goes beyond just buying what you need. By going green, you are protecting the environment, supporting companies that are eco-friendly, and showing the world that you care about our planet. In our consumer driven economy, demand for products determine what is available. If we stop buying the toxic, harmful, wasteful products that might be convenient and start demanding products that are environmentally friendly, companies will listen.
